Ring of Fire

If you want to find a new progressive radio station to stream online you could try:

1480 KPHX The weekday lineup is Bill Press, Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Mike Newcomb, Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy, and Jon Grayson. This is the former flagship station of Nova M radio (remember them?), and looks like it will be my new station to stream.

You could also try 960 KNEW, But 6-9 AM is Glen Beck, 9-12 noon is Dave Ramsey. They do Have Norman Goldman on from 3-6 though, unlike 1480 (I assume all times are PST, the station is in San Fransisco). Hmm… I may have to switch off between the two. 🙂

KTLK is the home of Stephanie Miller, and WJNO is the home of Randi Rhodes, but also certain others who shall not be named.

Of Course you can always try searching iHeartRadio, or subscribe to Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and check with your favorite hosts websites (above) to see which channel they are on.

There are several news and information sites you may also want to check out:

Willamette Week was the first to break the story.

The Portland Mercury has a blurb, but of course the trolls are out in force there.

The Daily Kos has a blog post as well.

Of course Kari Chisholm of Blue Oregon is leading the way with petitions, and is without a doubt the most cited source in any of the previous entries. We all remember Kari on Carl and Tom’s morning shows over the years. Outside of the former advertisers and audience, it’s hard to think of someone who has been hit harder by this change. He could definitely use your support.
